Bed Bugs.......
Ok, call me STUPID but.....I never knew bed bugs were real. I thought it was just a figure of speech.
Don't let the bed bugs bite....
So, I just heard a commercial on KJOY about bed bugs...GROSS!!

Yup they are real, they are gross and they do bite!!
Once a month we vacuum (the only way to get them out) our bed and then spray it with lysol.

I never knew about them until I meet FH. I knew the saying but never really "knew" about them.
FH is a major germ-a-phoebe and I am considering getting stock in lysol since we go through it so fast.

Yes, I think it is....my cowroker said they are invisible....I don't know! GROSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YUP!!!
Trust me is it not my own doing. Althought it is more comfotable know that I am not somethings midnight snack!
We do stay at hotels but you spend more time in your own bed then theirs. You are in their bed for a few days when you are in your bed the rest of the year.
They are microscopic!!!!

oh boy, I thought they were only a problem in places where there was a possibility of people with bad hygiene slept. Like hotels and such. I didn't think you could get them and bring them home to your own bed!

I just asked FH about it and he said that the reason we do this is for Dust Mites.
Bed bugs are red and you can see then. you would be able to see them on your mattress.
oops sorry i got them confused.

well thankyouverymuch..... I am so grossed out right now, I wonder if I have Lysol in the house! 
the article actually says it has nothing to do with poor hygiene either. who knew... I guess its the same concept as lice kind of

There is an epidemic in NYC Hotels right now. DH and I were planning a little get-away to Manhattan and to stay at a nice hotel (W) but backed out because of this... even the priciest hotels!

Yup, bed bugs are BIG- the size of an eraser head. You can see them crawling around. they showed them recently in NY hotels. they say the place they are the most are in apartments and hotels/resorts. they say its cause of all the mattresses that come in and out, just gross. they say when you go to a hotel pull the sheets off and inspect for red round circles of blood or even for the bug itself. just gross!!!!
dust mites are microscoptic, I use a dust mite detergent for my sheets, you can mix in reg detergent too. I buy it online in an allergy website.
