Bed color advice

Finally this year, we will be treating ourselves to a new bed and upgrading from Queen to King size bed I currently have two tall wardrobes (the ones with the draws) with pewter handles (see pic below) that I would like to keep, light wood end tables, big pewter frame with our wedding photo above our bed and pewter lamps on our end tables. I'm not a fan of traditional bedroom sets and I wanted to mix and match and color coordinate everything on my own. In addition to the bed (which color you can hopefully help me to decide on) I want to get a big pewter-framed stand up mirror.

So since I gave you a little "picture-me" idea of my bedroom, which bed color do you think will look nice? I want something kind of neutral so that I can have a variety of color choices when changing my bedding. I should add that we're getting the bed without the footboard (platform) and the material is everyday suede.

I happen to like the nutmeg. I think the darker one is too dark & the light one matches so well & then there is no contrast...
