Bella's Transition to a Big Girl Bed.
On Friday, we retired the crib and Bella's big girl bed was delivered. It was a quick transition...Bella woke up on Friday morning in a crib and went to bed on Friday night in a twin size bed. The bed came while she was at school.
I have to say, I am so proud of her
She did her usual 3 am wake-up-and-cover-me act and then woke up at 7 am...and called for us to get her  and the same for Saturday and Sunday night
I explained to her before she went to bed that night that her big girl bed was just like her crib and when she wants to get out, she needs to call one of us because her big girl bed is big and she could get hurt...and so far, fingers crossed and knocking lots of wood, she is listening to that!
I have to say, I was sad when the crib was dismantled...
 but again, for big transitions where she SHOULD have an issue or two, the kid does FINE!

Im so glad she did so well with the transition Kelly! I hope Aly does just as well when its her turn!! Yay Bella!

Thats great news gives me hope for my little one. I can totally understand your though - its bittersweet when they start to grow up

for Bella!!
Sure, but I wouldn't want any of her small thing craziness to rub off on Julia I swear, Bella has a smooth transition into a huge life change and then freaks out if you ask her to wait a minute to get her water because you are literally trying to pee!

That won't be a problem, Julia does the whole freaking out thing to me if she has to wait for anything, its getting bad!!....
