Re: Best Family Vacation
I know it's not very exciting, but our most enjoyable trips are always to Florida. For us it's a combination of things that make it so fun, and dare I say, with two kids, somewhat relaxing. We fly direct out of our local airport, which is super easy and stress free. We stay at our timeshare, that after many years of going, just feels familiar and homey. We only do a theme park for one day out of each week long vacation- that's plenty for all of us. We have a two bedroom unit, so after the kid go to bed, dh and I are able to watch movies, share a bottle of wine, just talk and feel more connected without our every day stressors. I'm sure now that our kids are getting older we will start taking them on further trips and out of bigger airports, but I gave a feeling Florida will remain our favorite for a while.

Re: Best Family Vacation
We love the outer banks in NC. Just a great place to relax and do not much but beach, and read on the deck for a week my parents have a vacation house down there so we go pretty much every year.
We also had a good time on an NCL cruise to Bahamas. We left out if NY in December and it was fun, DS had a good time and relaxing BC everything is taken care of for you.
Growing up we did a road trip to the national parks out west and that's a great memory fir me, too !

Best Family Vacation
We just came back from Orlando and I can honestly say, I has been the best fam trip for us so far! We stayed in a fabulous timeshare and came and gone as we pleased. Some days just relaxed at the resort. Other days toured disney, and even just took a half day trip to the zoo and beach! We know it will become a yearly destination. So much to do in the area for all age groups. We stayed busy from morn till night but weren't overwhelmed.

Best Family Vacation
Every vacation we have been on with DS has been great. IMO a vacation is what you make it and most kids can have fun in a card board box.

Cruise or Disney, usually last week of August, least crowded.

Re: Best Family Vacation
Disney Cruise ! I still find myself thinking about it and we went in Feb. We booked another for 2015. It surpassed my expectations. It was pure magic without the lines of Disney World :)

Best Family Vacation
Another fan of the Disney Cruise. It was so much fun! I have to say that just about every vacation we have been on has been fun though. Wildwood, Clearwater Beach, and camping at Jellystone near Lancaster, PA have been really fun, and SO family friendly for us.

Best Family Vacation
We did Beaches Ocho Rios, and loved it! It was perfect to get away from all the cold. We also did a cruise last summer, and it was great.. both sets of parents and siblings went, so it was nice.
