Best Jury Duty Summons Response...EVER
a man in minnesota not only responded to his jury duty summons, he reamed them a new one.
in response to why he needs to be excused...he wrote (and notarized):
Apparently you morons didn't understand me the first time. I CANNOT take time off from work. I'm not putting my family's well-being at stake to participate in this crap. I don't believe in our "justice" system and I don't want to have a goddamn thing to do with it. Jury duty is a complete waste of time. I would rather count the wrinkles on my dog's balls than sit on a jury. Get it through your thick skulls. Leave me the F__K alone.

I know of quite a few people who really love and hope for jury duty. I don't get it, but if they're willing to go in my place, I'm not fighting.

sounds like a moron with no common sense. maybe it is b/c I work in the court system, but what is so difficult about being on jury duty? It is not like you have to do it every year. I can understand it is inconvenient, but what other choice is there? Is there some better system other than a "jury of your peers"?

The irony to this (for me at least!) was that when I was summonsed to Jury Duty I was actually HOPING I'd get picked!
Unfortunately, my number was not amongst those chosen.
I do understand why some don't want to serve but to reply like the way that guy did is a bit much.

I am another person that always wanted to be put on a jury, and I was last year! It was so interesting to see the inside of a courtroom and how not-like-tv it really is.
I think this guy was a little out of line, suck it up, go to jury duty.
