Best paint brands

What's the deal with paint. In the past we've used Behr from Home Depot and never really had a problem. There is a Sherwin Williams store near me and everyone on here talks about Benjamin Moore. Which is best and how do they compare to stuff you get at Lowes and HD?

We always use the Valspar from lowes and love it. its not nearly as expensive as BM and i LOVE LOVE LOVE it.

I have only ever used BM. I love it & the Super Hide isn't expensive.

I use to use Glidden and then went with BEHR because Glidden was too thin. This time around now that we dormered our house we used Benjammin Moore's - Ben series. It is $31 a gallon, and excellent covering paint. I will never use any other paint brand.

I painted the master bedroom Mississippi mud and it covered in 1 coat. The only issue I am having is withe dark red color that we are using downstairs. I will be starting my 3rd and hopefully final coat tomorrow....this is because I didnt use a tinted primer which was my mistake. Other than that I love BM's paint.

Benjamin Moore
My dad does some professional painting here and there, and he had a chance to try them all at some point. He always goes back for BM, the best quality paints and show off colors well.

My stepdad is a painter and swears by Benjamin Moore super hide. If he isn't using that he will use Sherwin Williams but nothing else besides those two.
