Best place to park in the vinicity of Rockefeller Center during the day?
We are taking DS for the 1st time in the City next week during the week.
Instead of taking the train we are thinking about driving there.
Where can we park during the day in the vinicity of the Rockefeller Center (let's say within 10 blocks)?
How much can we expect to pay?
Will we find a place to park during the day?

hey Sophie, last year I forget what block not far at all , we went to a parking garage and it was $$$ I remember around 60 bucks!!! but its worth it, this year we will drive by and I will run out of car with DD b/c its way too chilly for Nadia yet, but I want Giada to see it again. Have fun!!!!!

The parking is less expensive if you head toward the other side of Broadway (not 10 blocks away).
Any Kinney system is going to cost a minimum of $60.

Try this site - I tried another in the past and it was pretty accurate but I haven't tried this one.
If you go early you can maybe get an early bird discount which helps.

Just make sure you are bundled up! We parked one year and walked and it was the coldest I have ever been in my life!

I always park at the Sheraton Hotel 53rd and 7th. I think their 10 hour rate is $32.

you might have better luck parking on the east side but honestly, I would highly rec taking the LIRR. so easy - no hassles, no traffic. worth it IMO

It may be a little bit of a hike, but there is a parking garage near Lincoln Center that on the weekends is only $9 for the whole day. This is where we always park. It's on 59th between 10th and 11th.

It's just that I have the stroller, etc... and it may be drizzling, raining.

I like to park at a garage that is b/w 51st and 52nd between 6th and 7th. I do not know how the prices compare but I like it because it is convenient and easy.
