Bryant & Cooper--I was disappointed in Burton &Doyle last time and Lugers, while awesome, is not romantic

Where is Capital grill? Never heard of it.
Capital Grill is a Chain. They are all over every major city has one. I feel you get better food and service at a local restaurant.
Capital grill you pay for the name.
OP-just wanted to add that if you do go to capital grille seriously consider getting the Delmonico..SOOO freaking good! Also, A lot of the steak places are chains (Mortons, Ruth Chris, etc) but that doesnt make them inferior necessarily. IMO, the food is great at capital grille and thats what youre paying for

Tellers has been great each time I've gone.
Prime is good, but not my favorite - but they have a great view of the water!!

Garden city. Next door to Roosevelt field. Love it. That's the one on LI. There's one in the city too.

we ended up doing blackstone.
the food was delicious.
we ate on the patio so it was quieter and more romantic :)

DH and I enjoyed Marble in Floral Park. I thought the prices were slightly pretentious, but the food was very good.
