Ditto the Nuby. We have the ones PP mentioned and the Nuby with the handles. No leakage at all either.

Re: Best Straw Sippy Cups?
We love the muchkin ones (the BPA free ones with Dora or Backyardagains on them) - DD has to have one of them. They are the only straw ones we have likes so far. The NUBY ones were okay before but I found liquid would get stuck in the straw and then they would leak.

i love these!! DS doesn't like the nuby ones b/c he has to work too hard to get the water out, and ends up just chewing on the straw.

Re: Best Straw Sippy Cups?
I use these BPA free cups from Playtex. The only pic I could find online.
I used to use the Nuby ones but you can't clean the inside of the lid and one mom told me hers broke and she saw mold growing on the inside and DS didn't like the munchkin ones.

Really? I clean mine all the time with no problems - either by hand washing or the dishwasher.
I just bought the munchkin Dora ones yesterday and DD had a hard time sucking it this morning. I'll try it again tonight.
ETA - we have one of the Playtex ones above and the only problem we have with that one is that it doesn't sit flat on a surface. There's a little plastic thing in the middle of the bottom that sticks out so it's unstable. Maybe mine iis defective though.

Before you give it to her suck on the straw yourself first then wash it. For some reason I find they have some sort of something on them and the first time you use them you have to suck hard then they work fine.

That is what this one mom told me actually at BRU. It grossed me out so I put it back on the rack and bought the Playtex one instead. She said that on the inside where you cant get in to clean it is where she saw the mold, when her cup hit the floor and cracked.
I think you do have a defected one. I have several of the playtex ones and they all stand fine, no round thing on the bottom.

We use these Too. We have a set of Two diego ones and they work great.
I also use the take and toss ones for shakes in mornings, the regular soft plastic straws dont work too well for that.

Re: Best Straw Sippy Cups?
Here's a PSA: not up to the sippy cup stage... but let me tell you my problem with plastic drink containers
DH and I used to bring tuperware (BPA-free) drink containers to work... then one day, we saw something black on the wall of the container.... MOLD
we inspected them throughly for several minutes... and discovered it was EVERYWHERE we never realized it! (It looks like the worlds tiniest black fleck on the wall of he container.) Then, we disassembled the lids to bleach the lids and containers... OMG, under that little o-ring in the lid (if you bleach the containers for about an hour and then rinse thoroughly, the mold comes back within a week or 2)
I thought it was just us (being really out of it) with experiences like that... then yesterday, a co-worker yelped becuase she just discovered mold in her daily drink container while eating lunch! same scenario.
So, we said good bye to plastic completely. We use kleen kanteens (the stainless steel bottles can go in the bottom shelf of the dishwasher)
So, for DS, since he'll soon be sippy-cup stage, we got him a kleen kanteen sippy cup. I refuse to let any of my family drink from plastic anymore!
