BF Moms-- after DC started to really eat solids...
When did their frequency of nursing change?

I noticed that DS dropped down to 4 nursing sessions and/or bottles per day at about 7 months. DS started solids at 6 months old.

Yep.. When I started giving breakfast and "dinner" she cut out a feeding, but I give formula.
She had 5 bottles a day, but now instead of her 5pm bottle, she gets solids at around 530 and a bottle before bed at 7ish.

I started solids at 6 months, it was a slow progression as she really wasnt interested in it for a couple of weeks.
She is now 7.5 months and eats two solid feedings a day (lunch and dinner)
as a result, I noticed that she is nursing less. About every 4-4.5 hours

I didn't introduce solids until 6 months, and she only had them 1x per day until 7 1/2 months, and it was 9 months before she ate 3x per day. It was sometime after that her BM intake slowed down.

DS still ate every 3-4 hours during the day until maybe 10/11 months when he dropped a feeding.
