BF moms- what do you do about throbbing nipples?
Theyre not cracked or dried thankfully. Just throbbing and alittle red.
Any suggestions??

i'm not BFing, but did you maybe try some ice? Or does that hinder milk production? I'm sorry, i have no idea.
i had the same feeling when i had my reduction and ice helped.

No water.
Put a tad of olive oil on your nipples before you pump or after you nurse. You will feel like a new women.

Lanosol after every feed and let them air out. I was literally walking around the house topless for a while! About ten days after birth mine stopped hurting and it was right after a pumped once or twice.
I also was told to actually rub the breast milk onn them and tried this too..not sure if it helped but it is worth a try!
