BFers: what's the strangest place you've ever pumped?

i am working in the ER today and had to pump in the cardiac stress test room... sitting on a treadmill

On a balcony in a hotel in Ft. Lauderdale-it wasn't our balcony either. We got there and our room wasn't ready so they told us about a lounge on the 9th floor that not too many people go to so DH stayed inside the lounge with DD to keep lookout and I sat outside on the balcony.

I was an event manager for a black-tie dinner. I had debated bailing out of it since I was helping out my old boss but she was desperate because it was a difficult event. I was working through the ceremony, the cocktail hour & then I noticed I was getting a lot of attention. I was busting out of the top of my gown. We had heavy security there because some of the attendees were high profile. I still laugh to this day when I think about my girlfriend slamming the door on a Secret Service agent because I wasn't done pumping.

I've only pumped outside home once, so far! That was a few days ago in the ER while waiting to be treated. I told the ER attendant to call up to maternity to get me a pump.

I don't think I have posted anywhere exotic. I did have to pump at Gastbygirl's baby shower. Luckily it was hosted in a friend's home and I just went into a bedroom.

Oh yeah, DH's cousin works in sales and travels a lot. She said she used to pump while driving

1.The teensy bathroom stall at "The Comedy Cellar" in NYC (with like 10 girls huffing about how long I was taking).

2.My car MANY times.

3.The bridal suite at Timber Point

4.Bathroom stall at a conference.

5.OMG~ I almost forgot. I once pumped at Doctor's Visionworks in an exam room because I was waiting for my glasses to be ready. I hadn't been able to pump at work that day. I was in such pain that I finally asked if they had somewhere I could go.

This isn't a strange place but funny situation - the BRU mother's room on a road trip. We were traveling from NY to VA with another couple after our friends wedding and I thought I could make it home (6-7 hours). Well, we hit traffic and I was so engorged by MD that I was ready to do it in the p-lot but didn't have a car adapter. I prayed for a BRU and lo and behold we passed one on an alternate route we were taking. My friend's husband says he's never traveling with me again!! LOL!

Always pumped when I was at home.

However, I was sick with a kidney infection and while I was admitted to the Emergency Room, I pumped there.

This thread is too funny! For me I have pumped in the car many times, even while driving, it actually isnt that bad once you are all set up.
