bfing older babies (another?)
my milk supply seems to have taken a big nose dive the last 2 days. nothing has changed (i always take fenugreek, drink TONS, eat oatmeal, etc.). the only thing i can think of is this is my 1st pp ovulation. i think i "o" tomorrow. can that effect my supply?
what can i do to get it back up? would pumping after nursing help at all?
ds tried to nurse early this morning for 20 minutes and nada. i felt AWEFUL!

 I am no help, I am still in nursing pads and still wake up with lumps...
Are you a scheduled BFer?
did you check kellymom?

wow i haven't had lumps in forever, although i still wear pads.
we are scheduled but i'm feeding him during those times and barely have anything. i almost feel like i have my old little boobies back.
i'll check kellymom now.

I think ovulation can affect supply. I think it is the increase in estrogen. If that's the case things should be back to normal soon.

I always noticed my supply lowered around the time I would get my period. I think that's completely normal. Also, could it be a growth spurt? You may see a rise in production soon.

thanks guys! kellymom also said that ovulation can cause a drop in milk supply. i'm going to pump after he nurses and get the extra calcium/magnesium.
