BFP Question For Moms Pregnant with 2nd or More
I'm trying to figure out if the DPO that a woman gets her BFP is based on the length of her cycle or the pregnancy. Thanks.

Re: BFP Question For Moms Pregnant with 2nd or More
im not a BTDT mom (although i have had two sets of BFPs due to m/c) but i do know that when you get your BFP has nothing to do with previous history. it has only to do with when implantation occurred in the current cycle. just because one cycle you got a BFP at 10DPO doesnt mean that every pregnancy will go like that. every embryo is different and each cycle is different, and each pregnancy is different. so when the embryo implants and secretes detectable amounts of HCG, thats when you'll get a BFP, regardless of what you have experienced before. it also depends heavily on when you test. if you are a consistent early tester the chances of an early BFP are lower than if you always wait til 12DPO or later. thats just a function of common time between implantation and detectable HCG levels.
