Bicornuate Uterus

I just received the report from my HSG that I had last week. My dr. told me that I have a bicornuate uterus or "heart shaped" uterus.

Does anyone else have this? of course I started googling it and now freaking myself out. My dr. told me it doesn't mean I can't conceive or carry to full term, they would just have to treat me as a high risk pregnancy.

Re: Bicornuate Uterus

I am not too sure yet, I just found out yesterday. Dr. wants to do a water sono to check the actual shape, etc. This report came from the radiologist while doing my HSG. So my dr. hasn't actually seen it yet.

I know I am probably freaking myself out by googling this.

I had this too. I had a D&C to remove the septum. They never said anything about high risk. I have since become PG on my own, but that ended in a missed m/c. My doc does not think it has anything to do with the septum.

Googling will make you crazy with all of the scenarios on there, although I did the same thing when I found out.
