He actually paused the show yesterday to try and figure out if a mathematical formula was accurate!
They actually have a physics and science professor that checks the science and formulas for accuracy. From reading the wiki they have a long standing formula that they're solving and for every episode they show a bit more progress.

OMG, this is by far my favorite show on TV right now.
DH and I  it and seriously laugh out loud watching it, sometimes we have to pause the TiVo so we can keep  without missing anything!

Love this show. I think Sheldon is priceless. The only thing that bugs the hell out of me, it the NO glass in Leonards glasses. Its like we can't see they have no glass in them. My only complaint.

I loved the episode where Sheldon got sick and Leonard called Howard at 6am and the mother was yelling "How-ed whose calling you so early" and Howard yells out "it's Leonard" and the mother yells back "why is he calling you this early"
The banter between them is hysterical. Especially since we never seen what his mother looks like. I picture this old lady with a moomoo, knee highs rolled around her ankles, curlers in her hair and big fuzzy slippers.
