Big facebook problem, I need some advice.....
I really have a problem here- and need help. I went into my alternative email account which I NEVER use on facebook, and low and behold there is a friend request- , someone is using a different name, not mine and MY EMAIL account. I reported it to facebook- what else can I do? I think it is an ex- who issick in the head( I blokced him thru my reg facebook account) or someone put in the wrong e mail address when they joined. Any advice? I am so impatient to hear back what to do.... Should I close my alternative email account , say forgot my password, so I get the password and delete the account or let facebook take care of it? TIA

Could it be spam? Once in a while, I get messages from FB at work but I have NEVER used my work email on FB. I just delete it.

That is what i thought- let me ask you, when you get a friend request, does it include there pics? I have not had a request since they revamped it last week- ....
also, these people do exist on facebook, I looked into it....

You should log onto your FB acct. You'll see there if u have a friend request or not. It's possible that it IS spam. I get them all the time.

The problem is they used a different last name and an e mail account I never use for facebook-

It is no one I know, it is under a weird name, same first name as me, but not at all me I have aol as my email, this is coming thru hotmail...It is a friend request...

Are you sure the friend request REALLY came from facebook? It is probably spam and if you click on the link in the email you will ened up downloading a virus or something.......
I got an email "supposedly" from face today my work email about logging into my account.... i KNOW it was spam because I have never used my work email for facebook. It looked like a legit email but I KNOW it was not.
I would let facebook handle it, i am sure you are not the 1st to report something like this and they are aware of these things happening already.
