Billing help please - ins says $0, doc shows a balance...
All of my visits have been 100% covered by my insurance. I have the Explanation of Benefits to show this. However, I received a bill from my doc's office saying I owe a balance.
I called my insurance company and they said I shouldn't pay the balance because they have covered all claims that they have received.
I left the office a message and no one ever called me back. I have an appt tomorrow and I'm bringing all of the paperwork with me.
Has anyone ever ran into a billing issue like this with their RE? Any advice on how to handle? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have. I scanned the bills and emailed the financial dept explaining why I believed it to be wrong. Purpose of the email rather than call was so that I'd have a documented response, which I now have. They responded I'm not responsible and they'd work to correct it. GL!

I was billed $200, but my EOB said I only owed $130. I called up and it was fixed - no problem!

Thank you for your responses! I made copies and scanned everything, so I'll just present it tomorrow. Hopefully it will be easily resolved. Thanks again for your help!
