Birthday Party Planning Craziness

I think I'm turning into a crazy person with this birthday party planning. I came home from work, bathed Emma, dressed her up and spent an hour and a half trying to get a decent pic of her for her invite. Since she's mobile, she won't sit for a half a second to get a shot. I was getting so frustrated and was actually getting annoyed at her! Annoyed at a little baby over a stinking picture! I spent my lunch hour scouring stores for the perfect party accessories. Now I'm measuring to make sure the 7ft stage will fit for the puppet show and trying to figure out where to serve food, etc. Then I got to thinking that I'm seriously going to go crazy planning this party! Then thrown into that crazy planning is the planning for my sister's bridal shower which is 2 weeks prior to Emma's party.

I'm seriously thinking about just having cake and ice cream on her actual bday and skipping a real party. Am I the only one that is just completely stressed out and going crazy over party planning?

I am stressed too. Our parties are on the same day and I finally ordered my invitations today I have a spread sheet of everything I need and feel overwhelmed. The joys of party planning

awwww, its teh excitement of doing something special for her along with bein able to have something to look forward to. Its normal mama!!
