Birthday party time question
The place I'm booking my 5 yr old's bday party only does parties on Sundays. Apparently, I waited a little too long (party is over 8 weeks away) and they only have late time slots left. I could do a 3 pm on a sunday or a 4:15. It's an hour and a half party, so they'd do pizza and cake an hour after start time. I'm thinking 3 pm, but 4:00 would be a little early for dinner, at least for my kids. Would a 4:15 - 5:45 party be too late on a sunday? Or, I can do a morning or noon party, if I do it three weeks after DD's bday. Thoughts?
Signed, Overthinking it

Re: Birthday party time question
I'd do 3pm. Earlier the better on a Sunday IMO.

Birthday party time question
I'd actually prefer the 4:15. That way they can run around, eat dinner, so then by the time were home all I gotta do is feed, bathe and put them right to bed!!

Re: Birthday party time question
Probably 3 if it's in the winter. I don't like traveling in the cold and dark, especially on a workday night. Kids really don't care what time they eat, they just eat whatever is served anyways!

Birthday party time question
I like 4:15 bc my kids still nap but they are under 5-- so taking naps out of the occasion I would do 3-- ONLY because It gets dark so early I hate leaving the house when its already dark out.

Birthday party time question
I'd prefer the 4:15 because then it's not an awkward time to eat dinner.

Birthday party time question
Thanks for all the answers! I ended up switching the party to another date and a much earlier time. A child in DD's class had a bday party for the same day and sent out invites already. Fortunately, the place was able to switch!
