Birthing Ball??

I have a question.... I have heard about a birthing ball can help you dilate. Is this true?? If so, what do you do on it?? Bounce?


Earlier I posted thinking my baby had turned because of her hiccups had moved. Well I felt them again awhile ago and they are very low and now Im interested and helping my body dilate since I wasnt dilated or even effaced any last week. So if anyone has any ideas, please tell me.

I hadn't heard of a birthing ball that helped with dialation. I know it was supposed to help with labor pains. (I didn't use one though).

I only know of drugs, walking & some accupressure methods (sex/nipple stimulation).

I know ithat last trimester is uncomfortable, but try to hang in there. You'll dialate when the baby is ready. I know many women that went from 0 to 6cm after their water broke.
