Re: Blanket in crib
DS has had a pillow since he was 9/10mths. I just recently (19mths) gave him a blanket only because he wanted it.

My kids have always had a blanket with them from day 1. At first it was a crotched one... I think he'll be fine.
Mine too.
I have a friend who still puts her 2 year old in a sleep sack (I didn't know they made them that big!) b/c she's not comfortable giving him a blanket.

I'm one of the paranoid ones. Jack won't be getting a blanket for a long time - he is ALL over his crib.

Re: Blanket in crib
my dd has used a blanket since day 1. ive never had any problems with her moving in circles while she sleeps, if anything she moves up and turns her head from side to side. sometimes in the am the blanket will be kicked off of her. she likes her blanket she holds onto it sometimes.
