BOOK CLUB Girls!!!
So who is still reading "A Tree Grows In Brooklyn"?
Can we set up a meet up date for the book club?
I am not doing it as a poll as of yet, because I don't want a whole lot of votes from people who aren't reading and might not attend.
SO if you can put what date in April works for you or does not work for you and also IF you would like to meet up what town you live in. Then we can get things rolling 
HERE ARE SOME OK DATES
Friday April 17
Sunday April 19
Friday April 24

Friday May 1
Saturday May 2
Sunday May 3

I'm still reading! I am DEF up for meeting to discuss it. I can't do the May weekend at all (my b-day weekend) but the other 2 choices are pretty good. A weeknight might be tough depending on where we decide to have it. I am out east in Centereach. Maybe we should do it on the Nassau/Suffolk border somewhere? Just a thought!

I just got my new copy. My last copy was from 1947 and the pages were falling out as I was reading it  Why don't we consider meeting at a book club member's house for each of the meetings? I think that's where we'd be able to talk freely instead of a starbucks or something like that where we'd be disturbing other people there trying to read / study. BTW those dates work fine for me although I'd prefer a friday night since sat/sun are really the only days DH and I have to run errands together. Are thursday nights completely out? Those would work even better for me.

I would say a friday night is good too!
I don't mind going to peoples homes, either way it works for me.
Thursdays are rough for me, at least- I work early in the morning.

That's a good idea, Jess. I def agree that we should meet at a member's home rather than a Panera or Starbucks, etc. Friday nights are good for me!

Am I the only one done? I can't do the weekend of April 24-26. I will be in DC for a math teacher's conference. Please, no whining as to why you can't go.
I also can't do May 3rd. BUT I live in West Babylon and volunteer my house.
