books/toys donation
Getting in the back-to-school frame of mind and putting this out to the LIF universe: if anyone has any extra books (picture books to beg. chapter books) that they have lying around/want to get rid of, I would love to take them off your hands! I am trying to build a great library for my classroom this year. Also, if anyone has toys (legos, blocks, etc.) that are appropriate for a K-2 aged boy, please let me know. I will pick up and I can arrange a donation receipt for tax purposes if needed.
I teach students with autism in a high-need school in the DOE. Having some fresh materials/a decent working library would be huge for these guys!
