Boppy vs. My Breast Friend

I have heard raves about both...girls, please give me your thoughts on which is best, because I am torn!

But something funny, the breast friend has web site, on it they have a video clip of a "little people big pregnancy" and the man is wearing the breast friend pillow to hold his drink and remote when he holds baby for bottle feeding

This is a hotly contested debate in the baby gear world....

I got a boppy, cause I figured that I could use it to let my baby lounge in as well as a feeding pillow :)

But I just talked to a couple of lactation consultants, they think the My Breast Friend is the better pillow for proper breast feeding position.
Hehehehe If you can, register for both :)

I EBF and have both. I prefer my breastfriend but I travel with my boppy.
I am more comfortable BF with DS on my breastfriend and it attaches around your waist so it is adjustable.

The Breast Friend pillow, all the way!

I think everyone is sick of hearing about my ordeal so you can FM me if you want to hear. I literally would not have been able to BF without this thing. I started out using the Boppy and came extremely close to quitting altogether. The day my lactation consultant showed me this thing, I was a convert.

I do agree that it's good to have both--the Boppy comes in handy for plenty of other things...but I highly, highly recommend the Breast Friend for BF

I bought both and was going to return one until I took a BF class and the teacher said to keep them both - she was SO right. The breast friend was my best friend for BF DS - he was very active from day one even when eating so the Breast Friend really gave me the support I needed. I couldn't have BF as long as I did w/o it - I used it constantly all the way until 10 months. The boppy was also so useful though and I used it for a long time - once he could sit up assisted I would use the boppy to support him and he would play with toys propped up in it - it helped him learned to sit and helped to provide support when he was unsteady. I would also use it to hold him while I gave him the bottle sometimes...etc. etc. the list goes on and on - I would get both!

I actually have both....

If you are only registering for one, I would register for the 'Boppy'...just because it serves so many other purposes other than feeding your baby.
But 'My Breast Friend' is great for feedings though!

Boppy I'll use for tummy time, sitting on the couch...etc..etc... then my brest friend for BF....

i got both, BFing didnt work out for me so i use the bobby for when i formula feed her and for her to hang out in the boppy. i love it :)

I only BF for a short while. I did no like using the boppy to BF, wasn't comfortable and I couldn't keep the baby positioned comfortably either. I definately preferred the Breast Friend for BFing, but used the boppy alot of other purposes.

In the end I got more use out of the boppy....but not for BFing!

I use both. When I'm feeding DS at night in my glider I feel more comfortable with the boppy. During the day I use the My Brest Friend which I love. like PP said there are so many other uses for the boppy. i would get both

Used MBF - I BF for 6 months and like MBF much better, however, I only used it for the first couple of months and then I used regular pillows - much easier to mold and conform to the shape i wanted.

Kind of like the boppy but it has velcro straps (they fold up inside the pillow) to keep baby secure.

I've only had a boppy and have no complaints. Both DS and DD have used it for other than BFing as well. A regular pillow has worked for me as well when I didn't have my boppy near by.

I registered for the Boppy but I inherited My Brest Friend from my SIL. I figured I could definitely use them both.

I have the boppy. It worked great for BF DD #1 and propping her. I never considered the breast friend b/c I was not sure how BF would work out for us.
