Re: Born Free Bottles-- So many pieces!!!

How do you get 7 pieces? I use the Born Free bottles and mine only have 5 pieces. From what I understand though the Dr. Browns Bottles have alot more pieces and are a pain in the arse to clean.

It really takes no time at all to clean them, but they help DD's gas issues greatly!

You don't need to sterlize after each use either.

Maybe with the nipple cover and that stretchy grippy thing on the outside?

1. bottle
2. nipple
3. cap to hold on nipple
4. the straw thingy
5. the pinwheel thingy

6. nipple cover cap?
7. colored stretchy grippy thing?

i only have 5 as well.

all you need is the bottle, white and clear plastic vent (make sure you pinch it each time), nipple and ring.

i never used the disks and only use the cover when we're going out.

they are wonderful for DS--no gas issues at all and so easy to clean!

Trust me, I have 7:
1. Cap
2. Collar
3. Nipple
4. Silicone Vent
5. Plastic piece vent goes into??
6. that flat disk (obviously I know you dont use that when bottle is in use)
7. Bottle

I just took them out of the box and wanted to wash them all.

I know they a great bottles, just alot of pieces!

I've been using Dr. Brown's but have Born Free on stand-by and I think they have the same number of parts.

Honestly the pieces never bothered me. I used Dr. Browns with baby #2 and switched to Bornfree with baby #3. I liked them both and didn't care about the parts, but that's me.

It's a lot but so worth it. DS has done wonderfully with them. Hardly any gas (except when Mamma has broccoli! Chat Icon ).

Re: Born Free Bottles-- So many pieces!!!

I love that they are easy to clean regardless of how many pieces there are. I usually clean all of DDs bottles and parts in the dishwasher every night so it doesn't bother me at all! Chat Icon Chat Icon
