I totally agree with you..and I am definitely switiching..but my only concern is what may of happened already.. thanks for your response
I have to firmly believe that NOTHING has happend. Your DC is only a few months old, right? I don't believe the bottle would have leached THAT much if they leached at all. At least that's what helps me to sleep at night

Re: Bottles and BPA
that's what i am hoping but then i have read that they can leach even after the first few uses.
ETA I called Avent and they told me that they do not know at what temperature they leach or even if they do leach.
SHOULD'NT THEY HAVE TESTED THAT??

switch to glass.
I don't trust what the government says is or is not safe at what levels...
Lets look at cigarettes- how long did it take them to admit they caused cancer?
or global warming- how long did it take them to admit it existed?
Do what you feel comfortable with... but if you don't feel comfortable using avent anymore- get rid of them and get glass.
I have to agree. The government has known about a lot of chemicals that poison people and still sell them. Cigarette anyone?
Now that you know just switch to a different type of bottle. I use Playtex Drop INs. Please don't beat yourself up about it.
