Bottles and food?
DS is 13 months old and I am not sure about his food schedule. He wakes up anytime between 7-8am and gets a bottle. Doesn't want anything else at first. He hasn't been a big breakfast eater for a while. It is worse now that hubby is watching him some mornings and he can't feed him. He says he has tried, but DS refuses. ( He eats breakfast for me most days, so I am not sure if hubby is actually trying.) So I make sure he has puffs or Cheerios to hold him over. Then around 3-4 hours after he wakes up, he gets another bottle and then takes a nap. When he wakes up from his nap, I give him lunch. 1-2 jars of food. He snacks on puffs or Cheerios between lunch and dinner. He will get a late afternoon bottle and sometimes takes another nap. Then he gets dinner. 1-2 jars of food or some table food....He only drinks 5-6oz per bottle during the day. And 7 oz at night. He is still on Elecare due to a severe soy allergy. I haven't tried him with dairy yet! Too afraid...Does this schedule sound ok? Some days he only gets 3 bottles. When do they start to drop the morning bottle and go to food? Thanks...

Re: Bottles and food?
DS is 1 year old and here's his food schedule most days:
8am: Bottle (8 oz, but sometimes he doesn't finish)
9:30am: Breakfast (pancakes and blueberries, or cereal mixed with a stage 2 fruit)
1pm: Bottle (8 oz)
2pm: Lunch (yogurt and cheese, or turkey and cheese, or a banana and cheese-he loves cheese)
4pm : Snack (puffs, banana, apple, fruit cup)
6pm: Dinner (either some of what we are having, or meatballs/pasta, Dr. Pragers Spinich Littles, chicken sausage)
8pm : Bottle (8 oz)
On any of his bottles, he may leave some behind.
