Bread Recipes?

Anyone have any good bread recipes. I need recipes that I can bake in the oven, not a bread machine.

the bread recipe that i use week after week for sandwich bread is this:

makes two loaves. i bake it twice a week... with two teenagers in the house, we go through a lot of sandwiches

2 cups whole wheat flour
2 cups water
2 packets of yeast (4 1/2 tsp)
1/4 cup old fashioned oats
1 Tbs vital wheat gluten (optional)

mix these ingredients in a bowl with a lid. cover and leave in fridge overnight.

next morning, allow starter to come to room temp, then add:
4 cups unbleached all purpose flour
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup honey
2 tsp salt

mix until you can't mix any more. then turn out on a floured surface and knead for a while... you want to add warmth in your kneading. if you have a mixer, you can do it there... i like to knead by hand. i usually will knead for about 15-20 minutes... it helps me get my frustrations out

lightly oil bowl and put dough in. turn so all dough is lightly covered in oil (helps to prevent it from drying out). cover and let rise to twice it's size.

punch down, knead for another 2-3 minutes and put back into bowl.

once it's risen again. take dough out, divide in two (i weigh it). shape into loaf and let rise.

i bake in an electric overn 350* for 35 minutes. take out of pan right away and let cool on a baking rack. i brush the loaf top with a little butter to keep crust soft.

i vary this bread sometimes and i add wheat germ, lecithin, nuts... depends on what i have on hand.

a very basic and yummy white bread recipe can be found on the blog the simple dollar. that was the first loaf i made and it was YUMMY and easy

I'm definitely a beginner with bread, but this was the first recipe I ever tried and it came out great!
