Eh, rules were meant to be broken. I've broken all the rules at one point or another. The key is to be educated on what's best for babies, but to utilize the "rules" or break them in a way that works for you and your baby.

And I also agree with the poster that said that the wipers warmer in the crib probably isn't a good idea, and it isn't a flame, just that that could cause a fire

She also walked her dog in Target.
The dog wasn't wearing socks.

I leave DS alone in the house every day while I walk the dog. I only walk her where I can see the house, but I just can't see the point in bundling DS up first thing in the mroning. I just leave him eating breakfast.

The dog was wearing a Stormtrooper helmet from Star Wars - no hat. Target Nazi came up to us and got mad that the dog was from "the DARK SIDE" so I said "This dog ain't no friggin Jedi, he's a bad azz." Abby concurred with a nice lil fart.

I walk the dog without bringing the kids.
I leave Eliza in the swing while I get stuff done.
I let Maddie watch TV.
Maddie slept on the boppy her whole first month- Eliza slept in her bouncy.
Last week Maddie had nothing but cookies and french fries for lunch (we were running errands).
