Breast Pump , UHC , medela 57038 , anyone has it ? any reviews
So another breast pump thread , but looking for information on Medela 57038
Here is an interesting link I found http://www.medelabreastfeedingus.com/wic-ma-pumps
Its the first pump in the link without a letdown feature
SO UHC will cover
Via Edgepark only these 2
1)Ameda 17070PMW
2 ) The First Years™ Breastflow miPump Double Pump®
Via byram Health care 1)Ameda Purely Yours Breast Pump No Tote (AD17070P) 2)Hygeia Q Breast Pump (HG100056) 3)Medela Personal Double Pump (MY57038)
Lucinare 1)Lansinoh Affinity Pro double electric.
I did like the Hygeia but I read that spare parts are really not available anywhere Also Winthrop uses Medela hospital grade pump so I should be able to get the right size phalages from there
The only issue I can see is there is no let down and some say the pump is weak ... Though I don't know if that's true Any thoughts from anyone who got it ?
thanks

I have that pump. It works fine. I use it twice a day and it seems to do the trick. I've never had an issues with pumping (this is my 3rd baby) and it does what I need it to. I also have a Medela PISA from my other pregnancies and keep that one at work. It lacks the storage space of the PISA and it only has one speed setting, but it works fine. Especially since the parts are easy to find and replace if needed.
