bronx zoo membership...best price
How do you get the best price?
I went to the website and it was $199 for family premium. I remember paying a little less last time.
Also does anyone know when the renovations at the NY aquarium are scheduled to be finished?

bronx zoo membership...best price
The price went up this year. I paid $175 last year. I believe the mailer I got had said that price won't be offered again.
2017 for aquarium I believe, may be 2018 but not positive.

I was also looking into renewing but for the price I paid the past two years $140. I saw the $199 and said - no way!
I was going to wait for them to offer the lower price, but if they aren't then it looks like our membership is over. I can't justify that price.

They had a price increase; I doubt the price will go down
I would suggest calling and seeing if they will honor last years pricing

They rarely offer any type of discount- if you have a membership they send a renewal packet with a $10 discount offer a few months before your membership expires as an incentive to get you to renew early. The family premium membership is $195 for the year so you could possibly get the membership for $185--the prices went up this year but not that much--I have the dual premium membership since dd is under two and I paid $119 for this year and they raised the rate $6 to $125.
When you calculate how much one visit costs the membership is a good deal- for one adult, once child and parking the winter admission if you buy the tickets online is $56.10.

I got 20 off and they emailed me daily for months about that offer. My best advice is try to get two summers out of one year's membership. We sign up at the very end of July or beginning of august and it goes through the end of the following July so get in a few visits each summer that way.

We went 9x last year so even with the increase it benefits us last year. Queens zoo is our favorite.
