Re: BRU question re breast pump?
We're heading to BRU in a little while, I'll sneak a peek over there and see if I can find anything for you.
I wasn't planning on putting breastfeeding supplies on my registery. It seems like too intimate of a process to have someone buy for me. Plus, I have heard a lot of ladies here say don't buy anything until you know BFing will work for you - rent first.

They will take it back but only if it is unopen.
Renting might be the solution if you are not sure about BF.

I had registered for a pump but nobody bought it. Lots of friends told us it was "too intimate" to buy it.

I was told not to get one and just rent from the hospital.

Re: BRU question re breast pump?
My sister's insurance company paid for one for her and they sent it to her house. She never used it for her twins so she gave it to me. Maybe check with your insurance company?

I was a customer service manager at BRU until 2004, and when I was there, we'd return them as long as the original wafer seal was at the top of the package.
If they're no longer taking them back, even still sealed, that's a new thing.

I went to a BF BRU class and the BRU person told us NOT to open the box if we wanted to return the pump. She never said we could not return it at all. Just if it was opened.

BBB won't take them back even if they are unopened. BRU will take them back if they are unopened
