Re: Brunette to Blonde

i've been every shade of blonde under the sun. the upkeep is a pain, unless you are a lighter shade of brunette. (roots come in, look like a skunk...)

i always thought the best was highlights and lowlights mixed to get a mixed blonde shade. for me it always blended well, and the upkeep was expensive, but better for me than a single process blonde.

HTH!

ITA. Except I've been every hair color under the sun! lol! Finally I went with red- a long and hard road from the blonde I once was- and stuck with it. I've always found blonde hair and bangs too much of a pain to keep up with.

Thanks I think I may try the high/low light route - I need a change!

Re: Brunette to Blonde

I'm blonder- and to go lighter blonder is a PITA to keep up IMO so I can't imagine the time and money to go from dark to blonde - not to mention the damage to your hair from the bleaching
