Bryans scared to sleep in his crib after stomach virus?

So Bryan is 2.5 and he threw up in his crib the other day and since then he is scared to sleep in there, he has been sleeping with us cause he keeps saying that he is scared of throwing up. We tell him that he is not going to throw up anymore and that he has new pillows and blankets but he will not listen. he just cries and cries for us that he is scared. What can I do? The only hting I can think of is getting him into a bed. We havent yet cause he would sleep great in his crib and never climed out. Any advice?

i think now is a great time to transition him to a big boy bed!! this would make it easier ...
