Re: BTDT Disney when pregnant...
I only did Magic Kingdom (we did one park driving back up to NY from Boca).
I was about 5 months pregnant.
Stay Hydrated! That's my biggest advice! We went in March! Weather was PERFECT, but, still very important to keep drinking.
Take breaks. Walk a bit, sit, walk a bit, sit.
Of course, read all the "Warnings" on the rides. If you seen "if pregnant", then, don't go on that ride!
Have a GREAT time!

Re: BTDT Disney when pregnant...
I did Disney when I believe I was about 16 weeks. It was just DH and I and we did a day at the Magic Kingdom and a day at Epcot. I enjoyed it to an extent but I don't think I'd go there pregnant again (unless I didn't have much of a choice).
I'd recommend #1 STAY HYDRATED!!! It can get really hot in Orlando and you do TONS of walking at Disney. Listen to your body, sit in the shade (on a restaurant with AC) when you need to. I'd also recommend taking a laid back approach to the trip and don't push yourself to do and see everything. Also, wear comfortable shoes! I only brought flip flops with me and really wished I had a pair of comfy sneakers instead.
As far as rides, my OB basically said no rides. I was bad and went on the Snow White ride thinking it would be really tame . . . Well the ride was having issues that day and repeatedly came to an abrupt jerking stop while I was on it. I was NOT happy and it really freaked me out. Luckily everything was fine, but I didn't step foot on another ride after that. I'd personally not do any rides but that's just me. There is a lot of things to see without doing the rides.
Have a great time!

Re: BTDT Disney when pregnant...
I've been to Disney World and Disneyland while pregnant. I just made sure to take lots of breaks and make sure I drank a ton of water. I also made sure I had some snacks on me (We went in Aug) at all times b/c of the heat I would get lightheaded. I went on everything that wasn't a rollercoaster. I went by the recommendations on Disney's website as to what was ok for pg women.

I did Disney when I was around 20 weeks PG.
Drink lots of water! My OB said I could go on any ride I wanted - just stay away from roller coasters, flume rides and anything with a large drop or excessivly bumpy.

Re: BTDT Disney when pregnant...
I did Disney while at the end of my first trimester. We went in Jan so I didn't deal with the brutal heat. I did go on lots of rides, just easy ones. DD was only 18 months at the time so it was mostly baby rides and shows for us that trip. I made sure to rest periodically and stayed with DD while she napped in her stroller so DH could go on any rides he wanted and I didn't have to walk around.

I was in Disney when I was 18 weeks pregnant with twins. i was there in August and I would say NEVER AGAIN. The first day was OK, drank lots of water felt OK. The 2nd day we were there for 1/2 hr, my DH looked at me and said we need to leave. We drove to a hotel crashed a pool and then ate dinner at an Emeril restaurant!

Re: BTDT Disney when pregnant...
I went in Dec when I was 21 weeks. It was fine. I was alittle slower than the year prior, but had a fun time. I had to sit out things liek the safari at AK, and any roller coasters but that was fine, DH took DS.
You just need to be aware that you might need to go back to the hotel and rest sometimes. You cant bank on a go from sun up to sun down type vacation. But we had a blast with no issues at all!

Re: BTDT Disney when pregnant...
I went at almost 6 months. It was December so I didn't have to worry about heat. Make sure you stay hydrated and take as many breaks as possible. My DH also scheduled a massage for me half way through. It was a nice treat and helped me make it through the rest of the trip. Your rides will be limited, but there is still plenty for you to do.

Re: BTDT Disney when pregnant...
I did it twice in the third trimester. Its not so bad.
I went on every ride but the coasters and splash mountain.
Just drink lots of water to stay hydrated.

Re: BTDT Disney when pregnant...
What month are you going? I went when I was 30 weeks in January. It is a lot of walking but I walked throughout my pregnancy so I was used to it. We did the park 10-7 I think. Not our usually all day.
