btdt How long for #2 vs #1
I conceived my son the first month trying. Hoping to be as lucky next time. What was the timeframe like for those who are ttc# 2?

Ds1 first try.
Ds2 nine months including two chemicals.
We're on month 5 of trying for number 3 and I had a chemical the first month. I think I just got really lucky with ds1. You really just never know.

btdt How long for #2 vs #1
First took 3 months.
Second took just under 2 years. It included a chemical and a loss at almost 12 weeks. I am currently 19 weeks and Thank God every day. I know some peoples journeys are much longer than mine was, but it was a torturous process going through it those 2 years.

First DC- over a year.
Second DC- 10 months with two chemical pregnancies.
Third- Going into our 8th month. We had an 8 week miscarriage in May. We conceived on the second attempt with that pregnancy.
I agree with the PP, you never know what will happen.

8 cycles for #1 (no assistance)
Still working on #2 - It was 2 years plus with no assistance. Now we're on our 2nd IUI cycle.

#1 - first month
#2 - second cycle. We were winging the first cycle and it didn't work. The next month I came down with pneumonia during my fertile period so we didn't try that month. The next month (second cycle of trying), I decided to chart and we were successful.
I'm hoping that we will be lucky enough to conceive quickly the third time around too although now I'm 36 and I know it can get much harder to conceive as you get older.

#1 After TTC 10 months we saw an RE. Got pregnant 3 months later= 13 months
#2 After TTC 18 months we started back with an RE. We were hoping we would be able to get pregnant on our own, but no such luck...
I am probably not the comparison you were looking for.

I am probably not the comparison you were looking for.
ha ha..im not either.
DS was almost a year and my OB did an IUI with clomid that worked first try.
# 2...Im over a year now and one failed cycle of iVF. Going for round two sometime next month.

#1 took two months, but I was coming off BCP's so I think that was why.
#2 Took one try.
#3 One try also.
Not looking for #4, so we're going to have to figure out something fool proof!
