BTDT Moms--- signs of impending labor???
Since I feel like I am in the 2WW all over again (fun, right?) thought I would start a thread for BTDT moms to post some of their "symptoms" or signs that labor was VERY soon... besides the obvious of course.
Some things that I have noted from posts on here...
- Emotional breakdowns, crying, etc. - Change in bowel movements - Dogs acting funny (I don't have a dog, but I am thinking of going to hang out at a dog park )
Please share your experiences for those of us experiencing this grueling anticipation!!!!!!

Re: BTDT Moms--- signs of impending labor???
My dog definitely acted strange the day I gave birth...but I don't know if a strangers dog will to you...LOL!!!
Change in bowel movements DEF... Emotional, I was emotional throughout the entire PG so not too sure if that was a sign for me, I was just frustrated and annoyed towards the end..so that translated into me being a bit more insane.... I never lost my mucous plug, had a bloddy show or even the burst of energy....

Not a BTDT mom, but omg, I had all those symptoms! On Saturday I was extra moody/emotional, I felt aweful, broke down and cried, then yesterday I lost my MP.
I have 3 dogs and will gladly loan you one. The little boogers are driving me bonkers these days, they would not leave my sight, even when I am in the bathroom, they sit next to me and stare at me
ETA: Can you elaborate on "Chage in bowel movement"? I have noticed changes, but not sure if it's what you are referring

Re: BTDT Moms--- signs of impending labor???
To be graphic, I kept having to "poop". I felt like it was related to what I had ate.
I also was annoyed with everyone around me that day.

Re: BTDT Moms--- signs of impending labor???
My mom always told me that she knew she was about to go into labor because she would become extremely upset, at her breaking point and just so so tired of being pregnant. She said she would have one really good cry and feel better and then BAM, she'd be in labor.
With me I never had any of that. I waited and waited and waited and then was induced a week late. I had a few contractions that I thought were "it" (one knocked the wind out of me!!) but they never deleloped into more. I also never had that nesting thing happen that a LOT of my friends had (they all went crazy cleaning!!)

Re: BTDT Moms--- signs of impending labor???
A definite change in bowel movements (but this lasted for a week or two before the labor...)
A feeling that I can only describe as a heaviness or pressure in my lower abdomen.
Lots of BH contractions for about a week prior.
Emotional breakdowns galore.
When the real contractions come, you will know. I know everyone says this, but it is the only way to describe it. As soon as you get your first one, my advice is to call DH and take a shower, unless your water already broke.

Sorry if this is TMI, but the frequency (sometimes a few times a day) and the consistency (much softer) were the biggest changes I saw.

Re: BTDT Moms--- signs of impending labor???
- as you mentioned, a DEFINITE change in bowel movements... the two days leading up to labor I was in the bathroom a LOT and couldn't wipe my asss (remember my posts?) doubt that not being able to wipe my asss was a sign of impending labor, but it was more noticeable because I was always in the bathroom
- i was insatiably hungry - couldn't satisfy myself, but couldn't eat that much because of my squished stomach
- i *knew* all along that I'd go two weeks early. told everyone, and they disagreed because it was my first pregnancy. i definitely had an feeling and was right. so, maybe a heightened instinct?
ETA: the dogs - my two yorkies' behaviors were intensified. Lexi (the little one) never left my side this entire pregnancy. The last two days or so, if she could have crawled up my ASSS to get closer to me, she would have. She was with me every waking moment especially the last two days. BELLA on the other hand, was skulking around and very mopey. The entire pregnancy Bella couldn't be bothered with me, but the last two days she behaved as if I was home sick from work or something... she crawled up next to me on the couch, but would give me pathetic and almost scared looks like something was coming. Interesting, right?
