Your bedroom on a different floor from nursery
Did you have double changing tables (one upstairs, one down?) - did you put the crib in your room for a bit???

Re: Your bedroom on a different floor from nursery
I remember being confused about this as well! DD slept in her bassinet in our room for 4 months. We just walked downstairs to change her rather than setting up any kind of 'station' in our room (we have a split, so it's only about 10 steps). At 4 months, she went into her own room and it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be (thank God for video monitors! ).

We used the PNP cover changing table piece downstairs.
