Re: BTDT Moms: Child Spacing
My boys are 23 months apart and I know they are going to be super close as they grow up together but right now it's challenging. The youngest is now 6 months and big brother is almost 2 1/2. I do love how much the baby adores his big brother, I just can't wait for it to be reciprocated by his big brother. I know in time it will be a lot more fun for him to have a playmate that can run around etc, right now not so much. My 2 yr old has had a tough time adjusting to his baby brother, so it was something we didn't expect so much. For our next baby we will definitely be waiting at least 3 years. Good luck in your decision!

Re: BTDT Moms: Child Spacing
7 years difference between 1 and 2, and then 13 months difference between 2 and 3.
Honestly, I love having them sooo close in age. the activities are relatively the same for them. It's my older DD who usually winds up bringing a friend with us so she has more grown up things to do.

Re: BTDT Moms: Child Spacing
My DS's are 18.5 months apart. First year is tough but omg - I wouldn't change it for anything in the world now (they're 3 and 20 mos currently). They are BFFs - sooooooo awesome to see!
I actually worry about having the next one (if I can get DH on board) almost 3 years after #2. I know it's a more 'normal' spacing but I feel like they're going to be so far apart for so long
So, IMO - the closer, the better!
