BTDT Moms, how did you survive morning sickness AND taking care of another child?

I've been suffering from really bad morning sickness. I've totally been neglecting 16m DS and feel terribly ALL the time. I'm always laying down or puking.

DH is going away this weekend. I don't know how I am going to take care of DS by myself this weekend.

yogabbagabba lololol no joke though....unfortunately i layed on the couch most of the day but i read books with her on the couch played with her but the tv was my friend big time during the 1st trimester felt bad about it but i couldnt function

I moved vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvery slowly for awhile and we did a lot of quiet activities while I had MS - coloring, watching T.V, reading books etc. I had nausea instead of M.S though so maybe easier as i wasn't dashing to the loo but I still felt very ropey...remember this too will pass

Yo Gabba Gabba & Sesame Street. I felt guilty, but I felt so awful, I couldn't do much. Luckilly, DH works nights, so he came home & took over for a little bit each day.

I don't really have any advice, but plenty of sympathy - I know just how hard it is!

it was hard...I finally had to go on Zofran to get some relief. Also I only worked parttime so that helped and had family aorund to help out. Most of the time though, I did what I had to do through the nausua. Hope it eases up for you

DD#1 was 6 1/2-7 and that poor child was neglected. I had hyperemesis and she thought I was dying. I felt so bad for her. She did not even know I was p/g until I was 13 weeks(we had 4m/c's so I did not want her to know)

Cartoons... and at times my DS would be standing next to me watching me puke in the toliet because he wanted to see what I was doing.

Yea it was a lot of me laying on the couch and Kaydyn watching tv/ playing quietly in the LR.

I threw up pretty much EVERYDAY of my pregnancy with Colin. But I had no choice but to carry on. I threw up on neighbor's lawn, my office elevator, the train station, etc. If I needed to rest when I was home with Ryan, we'd do books or TV, or a table activity (play doh/coloring)

I literally cried every day, it was terrible. Somehow though you will get past it. We watched a lot of tv on the couch and my DD actually would come in the bathroom with me and rub my back, she understood that I was sick.

TV and zofran. I honestly could not function until I took the Zofran.
