BTDT moms of two or more need help
How do i keep the baby safe? DD is 4 and DS is 8 mos but is crawling and also pulls himself up and walks around holding onto the table. How do you keep the dangerous toys away from a crawling baby? We made a playroom in the basement but DD doesn't want any part of playing down there b/c she'd be alone. Liam doesn't want to stay in the playpen anymore b/c he's just figured out how to move so he wants to move. Need advice or suggestions for how you handled this?

I don't have the same situation as you(20 month old twins), but for now I would take all unsafe toys out of the common area and babyproof it. My kids hang mostly in the LR when we are inside. I have my TV gated off and a gate between LR and kitchen. Your daughter is old enough to understand certain toys are for her room or whatever...

We did take all the older toys out of the living room. The only toys on the first floor of the house are baby toys. However DD keeps bringing her toys up from the basement. I don't want to be overly cruel b/c I know she needs to play and she wants us all to be together but I also want to know that he's safe.
