btdt moms please come in - pac and play question
So I registered for the rock n play and figured the baby can sleep if we go away up until its 25 lbs since that is the limit. I registered for the pac n play for the same reasons for after she grows out of this. But I just checked my pac n play and the weight limit is only 30 lbs so now to me for the 5 lbs difference it’s a waste.
My question is though – where the heck does the baby sleep if you go away somewhere or to other people’s houses after it outgrows the weight limit?

Re: btdt moms please come in - pac and play question
we got a portable PNP we used when we went places. If you don't get a PNP most hotels have them. It's really up to you. Do you sleep out a lot? We're in NJ and my IL's are on LI so we bring it there. She just got a crib, but it's good to have.

We use the pack and play for travelling and for when DS stays at my in-laws house.
With a two floor house, it was an essential for us since DS's crib was upstairs.

Re: btdt moms please come in - pac and play question
Thanks ladies - i updated my question a bit to be more clearer
i plan to use the rock n play for overnight stays and wanted to see if i should even bother getting a pac n play since it only has a 5lb weight difference

Re: btdt moms please come in - pac and play question
I used the rock and play sleeper...while the weight limit is 25 lbs...they recommend you stop using it when DC can sit up on their own. And I agree...they could lean forward and fall out of the thing...even if strapped I feel like once my DD was sitting up I put this thing away. But the rock and play is GREAT not just for sleeping out...DD slept in it at home every single night until she was 3.5 mos old....I had no idea a pack and play weight limit is only 30lbs. That seems odd to me...but their weight slows down...I feel like you will use the pack and play a lot after she is out of the rock and play...I'd get both!

Re: btdt moms please come in - pac and play question
the PnP is essential. DS is currently 18m and still sleeps in it when we're @ my parents' or sister's house.
I've had DS in a rock n sleeper and there's no way I would've had him in there past 3-4 mos. It's too high off the ground and he was too active (rolling over, etc)
