BTDT Toddler Mamas: Strollers
A very awesome friend lent me her Maclaren and I am finally getting it back to her this weekend.
I'd like to get a new lightweight stroller now. DS is 23 months, he still goes in one, furthermore, we travel and he goes to my parents' in Manhattan a lot and they need one.
But I am not 100% sold on buying a Maclaren b/c we aren't planning on another kid...
Help!

I have the Maclaren and love it. If your looking for something cheaper, why not look at the Combi stroller. I see alot of mom's with that

I just got the Graco Ipo and love it! I didn't like the Maclaren for a couple of reasons and I love the Ipo. If you are set on a Maclaren...Buybuybaby has a clearance section and they had a couple a few weeks ago.

I am thinking about getting the Inglesina Swift. It's very light and is cheaper - you can find them from $99 - $119 depending on the store. I am waiting for a BBB coupon and will probably buy it there. I still have to look at The Graco Ipo, but I think it's heaver.

Nah, I'm not really set on it b/c I don't think its worth the money for at this point for us, you know?
Where did you get the Ipo?

Combi - that is the blue one I have for Tommy - it is so compact and has a shoulder strap.

We are checking out the new chicco liteway today at BBB. It only weighs 10 lbs, and holds up to 40 lbs.

I totally understand where you are coming from... I still have my one and only stroller, Peg Perego Pliko P3. I love it, but I am thinking of possibly getting a lighter weight one. I am also not planning on another kid, so I don't want to spend a fortune.
My sister-in-law has the Combi and likes it a lot.

They have the IPO at BRU, they have i belive a few differnt ones, the one we got costs about $100 and we love it, worth every cent. I think it works better than the macleren and it has a cup holder for me too

We have hte swift, DS is 33lbs and still very comfy in it. I also like the way it reclines more than some other lightweight strollers and I felt it had better "control" and a larger canopy than the IPO.

Re: BTDT Toddler Mamas: Strollers
I have a Chicco lightweight stroller that has last me nearly 5 years already, through 2 kids, holds up well, and is still going. And it was only about $70 when I got it back in 2004.
