BTDT...Questions about the stand up diaper change
We're currently at a 50/50 when it coems to diaper changes...sometimes DS will lay down on other times he'll refuse and I have to change him standing up.
Any advice on how you manage this...every time his diaper looks like it lost a bad fight

We do this too, usually I just try to make sure it is tight enough and send him on his way.
Although, sometimes making him stand up with his hands up against the wall like he is being frisked helps

I don't know that pull ups will necessarly help b/c they aren't as aborbant, so more frequent changes, you know?

I dunno.... my BFF has her youngest in the 2T-3T, and those suckers hold some serious fluid....
She uses the Huggies Pull Ups.

Re: BTDT...Questions about the stand up diaper change
OMG Love the idea of the hands against the wall!!!
At night he definitely needs a diaper that will absorb a good amount. During the day I could see pull-ups helping...especially when we are out. But first I have to get through all these boxes of diapers.

Re: BTDT...Questions about the stand up diaper change
I do this all the time - and the diaper is always on perfectly!!! I have mastered this skill.... secure one side - doesn't matter how straight, just put it there to hold on. Then get the other side completely secured - pull up that side of the diaper, and then lay the velcro strip straight and tight as possible.
Then pulling up the other side, undo the strip, PULL the diaper up as tight as possible, and then pull the strip tightly in - snug and secure. If you need to fix the other side one more time to straighten it, then go ahead - but after a few tries, you will perfect it... I actually now prefer to do it standing!

I must try this.
Elizabeth is RIDICULOUS with the diaper changes lately. I try to keep her legs in the air so she stays on her back but she manages to flip over anyway. I feel like I'm wrestling an alligator.
