C-section moms - what did you get sent to the hospital after you delivered that you loved?
I was going to send my friend an edible arrangement but then realized she might not be able to eat - any reccs would be appreciated!!!

Well just in general, after my first, my aunt gave me a book all about little girls & different quotes, stories from all different ages from newborn until her wedding day. I was (& DH) a bawling mess.
True on the food...after DD I had to eat nothing but liquids/clear broth for 48 hours. After DS I was given the go ahead to eat ASAP--so I guess it depends on the dr.

I had fruit delivered in the hospital after my c-section and really enjoyed it!!!!
My mother-in-law also baked us brownie, which was awesome. I think any food that is great for in-between meals is great. I found tha I wasn't really into eating too much right away, but I loved to have a snack, especially a late night snack :)

Food!!
I was able to eat the next morning after the c-section (they were born in the evening, so like 12 hours after). I'd just send it the day after she has the surgery.

FOOD.
Hospital food is generally repulsive.
If you do decide to send an EA, make it a small one since it's likely she won't be able to refrigerate it.

Any kind of sweets! With #3, I did not have to do any clear liquid diet at all. I dont mind hospital food, but they donthave candy and chocolate 
ETA: And a giant 7-11 coffee! While the hospital food is ok the coffee is TERRIBLE!

If she is going to be in for 4 days, she will probably be on a clear diet for only one day. After that, she can eat what she wants. I'd just wait the day and send/bring something she likes.

Best friend from out of state had my absolute favorite chicken ceasar salad and mexican wrap from our favorite deli delivered to my room once I could eat real food. Leading up to my c-section I had not eaten much and could not stomach meat...I was so sick at the end of my pregnancy BUT after c-section.... it was by FAR the best gift, I LOVED IT! 
I'd say food :) but I love food, LOL!

a nicepair of comfy pants that i was able to pull over my incision (mil got me a pj set that i lived in the whole time after getting out of the hospital gown)

Fries & a diet coke
my ALL time favorite after i had each kid
but since you can't visit, cookies, chocolates were great because not only was i able to eat them, but when i had visitors, they had something to snack on as well

Other than that, I got flowers, which I also loved.
eta - i just read your post about not being able to get to the hospital. I wonder if youi can order a meal for her and have it delivered. Like chinese or from a diner or something. That would be a treat!

a big box of Godiva chocolate!!!! i couldn't eat chocolate while i was PG so it was beyond heavenly!!!
oh and i was craving spaghetti and meatballs, DH brought me a super big plate of it from phils!!!!!!

I think to each is own.
I craved a tuna sandwich like no other. I actually requested one a few times after delivery.
But about 3 days PP I lost my appetite completely. Took like a week for it to come back.

I wasn't hungry much during the day. But in the middle of the night, I was starving.
DH brought me two cupcakes from Crumbs cupcakes and I devoured them during the middle of the night. I was so happy to have them there. I ate 1/2 a cupcake a night, those suckers are huge!
