Re: c-section scars after 1 year?
I guess mine is dark pink @10 mos. I got pregnant again when DD#1 was 11 mos., so I don't know what it would have looked like later on. It totally doesn't bother me in the least...no one sees it and I kind of like it anyway!
As far as the other poster's q...my stomach was never numb that far up, but the area around the incision is still somewhat tender if I were to push on it or get kicked there by a thrashing baby! I guess it still feels a bit weird shaving or whatever, but not totally numb.

1 year later 1/2 my scar is almost completely gone, but the other half is still dark pink.

the only part of me that was numb for months was the scar itself...

about 1/2 inch above and below my scar used to be numb. my ob said it was normal b/c they cut through your nerves and most people will regain full fealing when the nerves regenerate. some still have a numb feeling though.

Mine is still numb in sections. It feels weird when you touch it, but if i pinch the skin I can feel it. It's weird like that. Mine faded to light pink very quickly after DD

The sides of my scar have faded but the center is still dark pink. The numbness went away around 6-9 months.

Re: c-section scars after 1 year?
DD is 15 months and I can barely see mine, it takes a second to locate it.

DD is 21 months and mine is barely visible. It took a long time to regain full feeling.
