Cablevision DVR
Mine keeps screwing up!!!
it only tapes 1/2 of a show, or just records a blank screen  it started recording the office last night half way into it.
It only recorded 7 minutes of private practice the other night.
anyone, ever have this problem?

Did you check the actual times that you have it recording for? Even though you set it up to tape a certain show, you can still change the times.

Call and request service - maybe you have a hard drive issue. I know I had to have my 1st DVR replaced for that reason (hard drive) - last allI had recorded too - stunk. But shows would only show for a bit and stop or they'd be missing pieces or seem frozen and it was random at first but little by little because more frequent.

This happened with mine..IT also freezed up a lot. I brought it to cablevision and exchanged it with a new one...Works wonderfully now!

Same with us. I was getting so upset...it would miss shows, record all but the last 5 mins...you name it.
We ended up bringing it back to Cablevision & getting another one...now...it's perfect!
