calling ped on personal cell- what do you think of this?
I have to take DD for some tests next week. she had 2 uti's in a month, i have ot take her for a renal sono and VCUG. anyhow, we use a group practice, we MoSTLY see one. anyhow, I spoke to him today, the day I am taking DD is his day off. he told me to call him after on his cell. you think he meant it, seriously? I always feed bad bothering them

I dont' think he would have given you the number if he wasn't serious.  I would call him on it.

I don't think he would have given you his number and told you to call if he did not mean it. My ped called me on her day off to apologize about something that happened in the office. She gave me her cell phone too. While I have not had a need to call it, it was really nice to see that she cared about DD as a patient and me as a parent.

DH is a physician and his adult patients call him at all hours about tummy aches. Lots of stuff that can wait till the next morning. But its part of his job, what he has to do.
I would call for anything, if you have the number, that's a good physician, call them and be very appreciative that they took it. The good ones are always happy to help.
