Can Anyone Help me with Baptism Questions?
I am Catholic and DH is not. We were not married by a Catholic priest. Does that mean we can not baptize our DD?
Do I have to choose Godparents that are Catholic?

No, you can baptize your child in the church as long as one parent is Catholic and your wedding has no bearing on it.
Both godparents do not have to be Catholic, they both need to be Christian, but not Catholic, but ONE godparent does have to be Catholic.

We just had our second baby baptized, and these questions were brought up in the "class" we had to take at our church.
At our parish, both parents need not be Catholic, but the nun who led the class said that by baptizing your child, you are promising to raise your baby in the Catholic church.
As far as the Godparents are concerned, yes, they must be Catholic. Our baby's Godparents had to present letters with an official seal from their parishes. My DH and I were just Godparents to my nephew, and we had to present the same type of letter as well. Your parish rectory should be able to tell you the requirements for baptism.

The only thing I might run into a problem with is that the Godparents we've chosen are not Catholic. They are both Christian but neither one is Catholic.

At my parish it was not brougt up where we were married. They did say that one Godparent had to be Catholic but they did not have to show proof. My parish is very laid back.

Our godparents didnt have to show proof either. But in good faith they trust that one you select will be Catholic since the role of a godparent is to help raise them in the ways of the Catholic church.

I am catholic DH is not. we had no problem baptizing DS. God parents were both catholic but we didn't have to give any paperwork.

Same for me....I guess my parish is more strict...

I will tell you they will not let this slide... the godparents have to vow to uphold the faith.. if neither one is that faith, then they cannot really take the vow. You really will need to pick one Catholic godparent- what you can do is pick another godparent that is catholic and also have the original two you picked "off the books".

You don't have to be married in the church to baptize the baby.
A godparent has to be a practicing Catholic. You can have only one godparent and another person (who is not Catholic) can be a Christian witness, but they are not considered a "godparent" by the Church.
How strictly this is followed or whether or not documentation for the godparent is required depends completely on the parish. I had to get a letter from my pastor to be a godparent, but when I baptized my son, all the parish asked was if the godparents were Catholic, and if so, where were they baptized. I have no idea if they checked it out or not.
I do agree that if you are going to baptize in the Church, the child should have a godparent (Catholic). JMO, but I feel like what's the point of doing it at all if you aren't having a Catholic godparent?

DH is catholic and I'm pretty much nothing. We were not married in the church.
We did have DS baptized without a problem.
The Godparents issue I have found depends on your church. Over time on here and from my own experience in talking to different churches, they don't all go by the same rules. At my church, the Godparents both needed to be catholic, but I was not required to provide any paperwork. At DHs old church, they did not have to both be catholic.
Call your church for the exact answer.

DH is Catholic, I am not.
DS was baptized in a Catholic church and his godparents were both Catholic but I don't remember if that was required by the church or if they even asked.
